Jim:There will be a sandstorm in a week’ time. It will be very strong. If there is nothing important to do, you’d better stay at home.
Lucy: Terrible! The strong, dry wind makes me ill. When it comes, the sky will be orange and our city will be covered in thick, brown-yellow dust.
Tom: It sounds very frightening. Because of climate changes and because people cut down trees and dig up grass, sandstorms in China appear to have increased in recent years.
Bob: I couldn’t agree with you more. When I was a child, there are many trees, but now they have been cut down in order to set up buildings.
Lucy: I am tired of orange sky and thick brown-yellow dust. Does the government plan to do anything?
Jim: Yeah. The government is planting trees and already the government has planted more than 30 billion trees and plans to continue planting for the next five years.
Tom: We can only live on the earth. We should take care of our earth and try our best to fight against sandstorm. I think our earth will be greener and greener.
